Bandar Seri Begawan - The Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) of Yayasan Sultan Hj Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) School yesterday invited parents and students to a preview of a workshop, 'Genius IQ Success.'
It was conducted by Suria Mohd, owner of Learning Discoveries Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based centre to complement child's learning abilities.
The seminar directed to upgrade the skill of students to learn by heart with the engaging most appropriate techniques, and efficient ways of studying.
Suria highlighted on problems that parents face in their children's education, common techniques on how to redress them, and make sure a 100 per cent success in their children's academics.
She discussed "secrets to help your youngster admire all college subjects and score", and how to measure tip outlines in exams. Students were asked to learn by heart more than 30 difference in a one-minute testa Only a couple of were able to learn by heart a couple of words.
The students were distant from their parents in other room where they were taught techniques to learn by heart the words.
Parents were shocked by the outcome when a lot of them came back to the harangue gymnasium remembering most of the difference since in the assessment earlier.
The two-day seminar will be hold during the second tenure college holidays on June 11 and 12 at the YSHHB School. Parents will have to record through the school's PTA.
